The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced an important update about the upcoming smartphone just days before its official launch.

OnePlus confirmed on Twitter that the yet-to-be-released OnePlus smartphone will receive 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates.

Other confirmed OnePlus 11 specifications

The company also revealed that the OnePlus 11's display will have a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone will also support Dolby Vision. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will power the flagship smartphone. In addition, the smartphone manufacturer has revealed that the OnePlus 11 will have 16GB of RAM.

In addition to the OnePlus 11, the company will release the OnePlus Buds 2 Pro. The upcoming TWS earbuds will also include a Focus Mode and multiple white noise options.

The earbuds will also have 54ms latency for a better gaming experience.

The company also stated that, with the release of the OnePlus 11, it will bring back its beloved alert slider button. In addition, the smartphone will feature the same Hasselblad-powered camera.

OnePlus took to Weibo to reveal the OnePlus 11 camera specifications.

The OnePlus 11 will feature a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor, according to the company. There's also a 48MP ultrawide camera with a Sony IMX581 sensor that can capture macro shots.

The camera also has a 2x telephoto lens and a Sony IMX709 sensor with an RGBW arrangement to increase the amount of light captured. The company claims that with the telephoto lens, users will be able to capture professional-looking portraits.
