DESCRIPTION

The new Aston Martin Vantage Roadster small convertible's low-slung appearance is not a trick of the eye; it stands only 50.1 inches tall. The Roadster, unlike its predecessor, has no issues with power. When you combine that with a 106.5-inch wheelbase, you have a long, wide track that's ideal for performance driving.

With specs like these, you can expect a 3.7-second 0-60 mph time and a top speed of 190 mph. This V8 is one of the most versatile powertrains on the market, and Aston Martin can still do a lot with it.

For better weight distribution, the Roadster sports a transaxle configuration, which means the eight-speed ZF-sourced automatic transmission is positioned in the back. There are several driving modes, and the gearbox adapts to them. With EPA estimates of 18/24/20 mpg city/highway/combined, the Vantage is a remarkably fuel-efficient vehicle.

The low weight and great power output are the main reasons behind these results. To keep up with traffic in the city or on the highway, the Vantage only needs a smidgeon of its power.

The Vantage tiny convertible is just a two-seater, which makes it all the better. It's a lot easier to cater to two front passengers. Although it is small, the cabin is large enough to accommodate passengers up to six feet tall. The shoulder room is a little tight, but two big individuals can fit in there. The base leather power-adjustable seats are comfortable, but there are also 16-way power-adjustable heated and ventilated seats available. The only stumbling block is the height.

The Aston Martin is more of a short-distance point-and-shoot car than a long-distance cruiser. If you want to take it away for the weekend, you'll need to pack it carefully. The Aston Martin's folding roof is one of the better alternatives available; it has a Z-fold mechanism placed behind the seats and can be folded in as little as 6.7 seconds.

The Roadster has the same cargo capacity as the coupe due to the location of the folding top mechanism, which eliminates the back seats in favour of the trunk.
